LES LALANNE

Les Lalanne were an extraordinary husband and wife furniture-making artist duo. Together they made beautiful, playful sculptures that really leaned into the absurd, which I of course deeply appreciate. At the beginning of the year I fell down an absolute rabbit hole surrounding these sheep stools, Moutons de Laine, which really send me over the edge. Tee-heeing and making lifelike sheep together that ultimately sell for $6 million at auction is relationship goals, I'm so glad they found each other.

I would do anything for a sheep and implore you to explore the depth of their work! Super special.
