
Macaroni and cheese is one of my top foods. It is very important to me and I believe it should be both a causal food and on every special occasion table. I rotate between this white cheese recipe and a yellow more southern version that I freestyle depending on what I'm serving it with. If I'm eating just macaroni and cheese, I'm making this. For yellow style I use store-bought breadcrumbs (I like this brand) but for Martha Stewart's recipe be sure to do what she says and use real white bread. This is my brother's favorite macaroni and cheese and what our mom made for us growing up. Winter comfort food.
