This one's for all you country loving artists and artist loving cowboys. There's no one else like Lubbock artist Terry Allen who presents to us a long narrative album. Giving us version of Texas, of country music, at once leaning into the predictable and straying far from it. Singular, poetic, singalongable, funny, and it's made me cry. There's a lot here.
